Christopher was born the third of four children in Abilene, TX. He attended Abilene public schools and played football, basketball, and baseball. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1988.
On March 15, 1992 he accepted his call to the ministry, and preached his first sermon on August 30, 1992 at Morse Street Baptist Church in Denton, TX. Rev. Neal received a BA in History from Texas Tech University in 2001. He has worked as a police officer, parole officer, juvenile corrections case manager, Chief of Security for juvenile corrections, and child abuse investigator. He began teaching Social Studies and coaching in 2005 in Mesquite, TX.
Rev. Neal has been married to Bertricia (Bailey) Neal for 25 years, and is the proud father of two: Kristen Alise Neal (22) and Christopher Ulysses Neal, Jr. (20). Rev. Christopher Ulysses Neal, SR, believes and lives to “Love God, Love People, Serve the World”.
