Trinity Preparatory Academy’s University-Model® program blends the best aspects of homeschool and traditional private school models. Parents work together in partnership with campus teachers each school week. The school selects the curriculum, and teachers make the lesson plans and provide instruction for students on their two campus days. Parent partners have the responsibility and accountability to ensure at-home work is completed and students comprehend what they’re learning on their three homeschool days.
Elementary school (K - 5th) is an exciting place for children to grow spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally. Our school emphasizes the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and it is through exploring and discovering the world He created that reading, writing, math, science and social studies come alive. This is accomplished in a safe, nurturing environment where students are allowed to apply their learning around lessons and activities presented through a Christian worldview with their teacher on two campus school days and with the parents as the instructor on their three at-home school days.
Middle school (6th - 8th grade) is a time of extraordinary growth and change for students: physically, emotionally, socially, and academically. Your child will be forming their identity during this season as they learn to embrace their unique talents and interests. Trinity Prep’s school culture reaffirms that we are all made in the image of God. Faculty and staff model Christian values for students, and students are expected to do the same. Academically, students go to different teachers on their two campus days as they explore English, math, science and history with direct instruction, guided and independent work, small group and individual projects; the three at-home school days are spent in partnership with parents as they guide, instruct, and oversee their child on their classes and assignments, and ensure that s/he has the needed resources and materials.
Trinity Prep is committed to providing our high school (9th - 12th grade) students with a high-quality education by nurturing their academic, spiritual, and social growth. Faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing our students for college and life beyond high school by encouraging them to be empowered lifelong learners who reflect self-discipline, responsibility, integrity, and service to others through Christian values. Academically, students attend class with teachers on their two campus days each week as they explore English, math, science and history with direct instruction, guided and independent work, small group and individual projects. At this stage, students are working towards full independence, but parents are still accountable to ensure that their child has the needed materials, completed assignments, and understanding of the curricula on the three weekly at-home school days. High school students have the opportunity to earn 25 of their required 26 credits towards their diploma through our program including available optional dual credit courses.
